Overview
Uber is the official transportation networking partner for the University of Utah. This partnership enables departments to set up transportation programs that support your travel needs.
Examples of how departments can utilize this service:
- Business travel
- Campus visitors & guests
- Patient or healthcare transportation to support research
- Event transportation
The University Hospitals & Clinics should reach out to UUH Valet Services at (801) 213-2757 to set up your account
Academic colleges, departments, and research programs should visit uber.com and click on the Business tab, then scroll down and click Get Started.
You'll then be presented with a screen to enter your phone number and get yourself set up - you can create a program name, be sure to use your department or college here, this is the name your users will see. You'll complete the next few steps and then be presented with our program offerings. Based on how you answer the questions, the system will recommend either Central or Uber.
