Effective immediately, CA’ and ‘CU’ permits will no longer be sold.

HOUSING PERMITS

Important: To have access to Commuter Services’ ‘My Parking Portal’, you must be an active student enrolled in at least one class. Once this status has been reached, your portal should be updated and accessible the following day.  Then, to purchase a housing permit, you must be approved as a housing resident.

  • Peterson Heritage Center (PHC) - ‘H’ Permit (Shoreline Ridge, Benchmark Plaza, Chapel Glen, Gateway Heights, Officers Circle, Sage Point)
  • Lassonde Studios (LSND) - ‘LS’ Permit
  • Impact Health & Prosperity Center (IHPE)(Epi Center) - ‘EP’ Permit
  • Marriott Honors Community (MHC) – ‘U’ Permit
  • Kahlert Village (KV) ‘U’ Permit
  • Trailhead Housing - ‘U’ Permit

Where can I park with these housing permits?

H, LS, & EP Permits

  • These housing permits are only allowed in their respective housing lots and will NOT be authorized to park in any other lot on campus. See map.

Note: Other campus permits, monthly permits, pay parking, and day passes will not be able to park in housing permitted areas.

U Permit

  • While U parking is very limited around the housing facilities, there are some reasonable park-and-walk options.
    • This permit is NOT allowed in housing-specific permit lots.
    • This permit also allows for parking on campus in U lots.
    • This permit also allows for parking on campus in areas designated as U after 3 pm.

Watch for permit alerts

Once you have enrolled in classes and have been approved for one of the four housing permit facilities, you will be notified that your ‘My Parking Portal’ has been updated with your respective housing permit.

Aren't there more housing students than housing-specific parking?

In some housing areas, parking may be more limited and in more demand.

All housing permits will be capped.  Once this cap is reached, your only option outside of a housing permit will be a ‘U’ permit or the RPH permit.

What happens when a housing lot reaches its cap?

Once a housing permit lot has reached the purchase cap.  Your only available permit options for purchase is the ‘U’ permit or the RPH permit.  If you are in a housing facility with a housing-specific permit, you will also have the option to sign up on a waitlist for your preferred housing permit.  As a housing permit becomes available, you will be notified, and our staff will assist you in converting your current ‘U’ permit to your preferred housing permit.

New 'no overnight' parking changes in select lots - effective July 1, 2026

  • Lot 26 – Soccer
  • Lot 11 Level 4 – Central Garage
  • Lot 15 – LDS Garage – Already posted as ‘No Overnight Parking.’

Affordable Parking Option for Students, Staff, and Faculty

RPH permit (Research Park Hybrid) is the most economical permit on campus. This is available for students, faculty, and staff who don’t need daily or ready access to their vehicle. This permit offers covered parking with free shuttle service to and from housing and campus work locations.

Faculty, Staff and Commuter Students:

Utilize the Circulator and Sunnyside Campus Shuttle routes.

Housing Students:

Use the TransLoc app to request a ride to or from housing facilities.

  • Annual price is only $234.72
  • Garage covered parking.

The RPH permit is only valid in Lot 111.  If you need to park on campus occasionally, you will need to purchase a day pass online or use paid hourly parking options.

Only 209 RPH permits are available.  Once the available cap on permits is reached, this option will switch to a waitlist.
